I obtained my BSc in Electrical Engineering and my MSc in Information Technology both from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (University of Zagreb, Croatia) in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
Next, I spent 5 months as a visiting researcher with the Wireless Communications group of Malardalen University (Sweden), where I have performed research on the implementation of 802.15.4 PHY layer using the USRP Software Defined Radios.
I am currently in the process of defending my PhD in Computational Intelligence at the University of Genoa (Italy). My research, conducted with the ISIP40 group, was focused on security issues and practical implementations of Software Defined Radio and Cognitive Radio technologies. In addition, over the last three years I was actively involved as a work package coordinator and a researcher in nSHIELD project, focused on developing new paradigms for security, privacy and dependability of embedded systems, and as a researcher on the ESSOR project which dealt with building secure Software Defined Radios.
